Louis G. Paulson

Lou is a native of Virginia Beach, Virginia and a graduate of Princess Anne High School and The University of Virginia. After graduating with a BS in Aerospace Engineering in 1970, he entered the United States Navy, flying E2B & C aircraft attached to the USS America. While in the Navy, he received a Master of Science in Aeronautical Systems from University of West Florida (1972) and a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from George Washington University (1975). In 1979, Lou received a Juris Doctorate, and in 1987 a Master of Laws in taxation, both from The College of William and Mary.

Lou began practicing law in the Great Neck area in 1980. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Virginia State Bar Association and Trustee of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Virginia Beach. Lou and his family have lived in the Great Neck Area since 1972. He coached baseball and basketball in the Great Neck community programs for fifteen years.

He is married to the former Jeannette M. Bonner of Virginia Beach and they have three children, Elias, John and Matthew and have a grandson, Louis and a new baby granddaughter, Cathleen.

Matthew R. Paulson

Matthew was born in Virginia Beach but currently resides in Arlington, Virginia. After graduating from Frank W. Cox High School in 1997, he attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Economics in 2001. After working in the business world for a few years, Matthew attended American University, where he earned a Juris Doctorate in May of 2007.

Matthew is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He has experience in a wide range of legal areas including real estate law, estate planning, personal injury law, and business formation and litigation. His trial experience includes representation of individuals and companies before the Virginia Beach, Fairfax, and Arlington Circuit and General District Court. Matthew is licensed to practice before the Virginia Court of Appeals and before the Virginia Supreme Court.

He is married to the former Stephanie Scourby of Woodbridge, Virginia.
